Is that how you spell "Aaaaargh"? I thought there were 6 "a's" not 5.

Chris - my MY05 makes no warning about the handrake, does yours then?
PS it might be better phrased: "Is it only an 04+ feature then, where the car beeps at you..."
Caught napping there! Still, writing official docs all day, I deserve the odd slip up in my own time!

Yep, my car does, indeed, beep at me on the odd occasion (actually only once!) that I inadvertantly fail to fully disengage the handbrake. Quite a neat feature, I thought!

Yeah, easily done.

The Jap tw*ts have put a stupid dinging bell in to warn you if you leave the keys in the ignition, or forget the seatbelts.
Why not give a warning when you make 2mph with the handbrake on?

mine dings at me if i drive with the handbrake on.

wondered what it was the other day. i was testing to see if it was front or rear brakes that were squeeling by using the handbrake when i was moving and it started dinging.

If one needs to be warned (by bells or lights) that the handbrake is still engaged, one doesn't deserve a car, let alone an S2000.

Hardly true. I'm sure virtually everyone has, at some point, left it one 'click' on as a result of releasing the button a touch too early.

Perhaps you are just jealous, as according to your profile you don't actually own an S2000?
