Who else is waiting for 2002 model?
Just thought I'd ask.
Have Insurance pretty much arranged, foreign exchange money ready to go. Christmas round the corner and I have to wait till Jan to get my present.
Ok.....patience.....
Just had the wheel hubs pinched from my Escort, I fear for the S2000.

i thought i was but am getting an 01
at the dealer in holland now - should have it in a few days
as for safety of the motor - my old car has been trashed 3 times in as many years in the street outside my house.
my new baby is going to be locked up in a garage somewhere - even if I have to get the tube to go drive it!
medium term I am moving house to somewhere with secure parking.
this is the only reason for moving- but there is no way on gods sweet earth I am parking my s2k outside to get hurt

I cannot even think about putting it on the driveway. Garaged is the only way.
I phoned up alliance car imports the other day to confirm everything was ok and they thought I was a Mr Long as he also had an S2000 on order with them. Is that you or just a wierd coincidence?

So you two both had no problems with them then? Think they are my next choice now.
What are the waiting times like, from 1st point of order, I thought they had 5 months on there site... thats a bit too long for me.

Great Stuff, let me know how it goes andy. Are you getting the car delivered or from Dover?
Lead time is 5 months. Was really trying to get it before Christmas but due to supposed model change over I have to wait till mid Jan.
1st Aug Deposit mid Jan collection if that helps anyone.
I'm off to look at some more pictures

picking it up from dover - that way i get to drive back up the M20
7 Jun deposit - car arrived at dealers 2 weeks ago - so 5 months sounds about right - i am just on the cusp of the changeover - they thought the price was going to rise for the 02 model then it went back down again.
went for the hardtop too - it was only an extra
