I used to occupy and office looking out over Felixstowe docks. Volvo used to land all their cars there and park in a huge compound next to our building, but then moved to Ipswich. Volvo had a problem one day - a seaman went loopy and ran over the cars while on the boat. He did the classic boot-roof-bonnet damage to 90 new cars. Ouch.
Not that I want to worry you!
So, clearly you have an import. From the EU or Japan? Colour?
If it from the EU how much do you reckon you saved? Given the

Yep she's in and transported by transporter transportation to Bob Gerards showroom in Great Glen, Leicestershire.
The plan is to pick her/him/it (feels like a her at the moment) up on thursday, subject to registration coming thru ok.
The only other thing that can stop me is the weather, but the forecast looks just damp wet. A foot of snow and she stays where she is till new year.
Jo and me (jo's a girl too) go by choo choo from hampshire/waterloo/st pancras/market harborough. BG picks us up and takes us to shiny honda fun box.
I'll post me first impressions.
Good timing for crimbo ain't it???
Any advice for the drive back (other than read tech faq and drive it like u stole it)

Don't drive it like you stole it until:
a) she's run in properly
b) the roads and in particular the tyres are warmed up in these weather conditions
Otherwise enjoy it
I wonder if Bob can get me a black with tan seating
Couyld you ask him for me when you see him please

Re the irish question (black & tan), I will ask.

Nevertheless answer posted thursday evening.

Thanks for asking. I can't remember whether black and tan was only jdm or whether someone saw one in Italy IIRC whilst on holiday.
Can anyone remember or does anyone have the picture?

1. Take it easy on the drive back.
2. Check your oil level a lot.
3. Post some pics.
4. Check your oil level a lot (repeat intentional).
You'll love it

Cheers P1
Sensible shoes driving and much oil checking here I come.
Weather looks wet but ok.
Saturday I might get to try the snow abilities of the car up the steep hill to our house. I understand from this board that the roadholding in snow is excellent.
Bring it on.
(CC's damoclean sword hangs visibly above me...his grip is loosening...)
