AE - Its easy peasy.

Run the wire out of the boot, over the rear wheel arch down the front of the rear wheel along the cill on the passengers side, up and into the bonnet and, hence, onto the battery. Use B&Q 3mm cable clips neatly nailed in place (you could use screws ifyou were keen), and cover the whole lot with a piece of Duck tape. You could use B&Q self stick U section plastic conduit, but I do not think it is worth the extra effort.

If you do not fancy that then simply stick another battery in the boot and use that. It will fit.

Good luck AE, this sounds like a load of effort to me and not something to be attempted with a Sunday morning hangover!

Now if Number One Son (AE) had asked his Dad - his Dad would have done it in about 15 minutes for him!!!

Struggle on Ian - Dad will do it properly for you when you are next home!!!

Number One son is either:

(a) unaware of his limitations; or
(b) over-confident; or

I don't think I'd risk a sub at present - my sodding speakers seem to struggle with just the Alpine HU. I'll see how Mark gets on with his local audio specialists of choice....
