Default Where to get my vortech s/c installed?

Anyone know of a place to get a supercharger kit installed in the Suffolk area? Preferably someone who has done one before.

Not sure mate, but you're probably going to need access to a rolling road and stuff too.

Isn't this something you need to check before buying a SC?

Auto point in Thetford use to be pretty clued up with all forms of supercharging but i have not used them for a long time.

Nemesis performance in colchester?

TDi at barking in essex?

all depends who is willing to install the kit you supply.

We could do a Vortech Install meet ....... and all have a go.

Seriously, I had a chat las week with a guy that installed his own. Took him 3 days and he had to make a few small mods along the way.

Yes.

The Vortech is supposed to be plug and play, no real need for rolling road.

I say 'supposed' as I wouldn't really trust the black box hence buying the AEM also.

The install seems pretty simple to do yourself, I am looking at doing most of the work with a little help, try searching the US forums for hints and tips, but as described to me you basically break the work down into parts that you can do, then carry on driving.

IE

Replace fule pump
Do all ECU re wiring, but leave black box bypassed.
Fit water pump (attach to spare feed in drivers footwell rather than using the clip on the relay) and aftercooler.

ETC
