Default Where to get Dixcel brakes from?

Hi guys I've always used dixcel discs and pads on my s2k, while they are not the cheapest they offer fantastic braking power and I'm keen to keep on using them. Now that DMS have gone down the pan does anyone know where I can get a set from Thanks

There is no way i would ever buy anything from VTEC Direct (they have been selling Dixcel for a few years now). The prices are just extortionate, tbh i'm surprised they sell anything! DMS hasn't gone down the pan they are just no longer traders on here. You could always get in contact with Dixon or DMS through your own means but it is obviously at your own risk after everything recently.

go and try carbone lorraine brake pads mate. they supply stuff to sebastian loeb amongst a lot of other race teams. i tried a set at spa (and continuing) and have been absolutely gobsmacked with their performance. i need to get round to writing a review for the forum as a reference, but for now i just tell people to go and try them.... you can get them from driftworks.com and they are quite reasonably priced (not cheap, but worth much more than they charge imo.)

Thanks for the replies guys. The DMS website is down so I'm guessing that Dixon has ceased trading (for now).

What discs do you use with the CL pads? I have heard good things about them.

Also not keen on using vtec direct as there prices are sky high!

I met Paul that owns CL last weekend by chance and he is a great guy that knows his stuff. I could drop him a message to see if he fancies a traders thread if people are interested.

I race on Dixcels - race proven to never fade.

I also race with Andy who owns VTEC Direct. It's worth calling him for a price.

HI,
I bought from Dixon, front and rear disk and pads. Everything was ok. I wrote him an email last week but I none answered me until now. What happens? Just to know if I could still consider him a seller for dixcel.

thanks

I used to get my dixcels from dixon but I'm sure he's stopped trading hence the post.
Think I'm going to try CL brakes next
