Where is the best place and what is the best adaptor. Pics please if you have any. Trying to work out what I should do with mine.

Gimme a day or two and I'll have the Seidio powered mount for my Axim. I'll probably be putting it on the vent to the left of the steering wheel. Vent to the right would be easier but just invites chavs to nick the PDA while I'm in traffic.

After trying a vent-mounted solution I eventually opted for one of those ones that sucks to the windscreen. Have it low down so it's pretty much resting on the dash.

By the sound of it I'll probably end up using the windscreen sucker then. The Seidio comes with both I believe...I just hope the power cable's long enough to reach the socket without getting in the way.
What I'd REALLY like to do though is cut the dash, put a mount for the PDA in there and fashion a little slide down door to hide it when not in use
I'm tempted to be honest. Someone suggested sourcing a replacement dash from a breakers and doing it on that then swapping them over. Sounds like a plan

i use a brodit powered mount - attached to a goose neck that is attached to the passenger right hand seat mounting bolt. The PDA therefore fits just to the left of the radio door. My wife is quite short so her knees don't get in the way......but if you have a tall regular passenger it might be a problem
