Default Favourite Roads!

Found some great tarmac in Suffolk on the weekend - A143. The best bit is from Great Yarmouth to Diss - some superb road. Plenty of opportunity for good VTEC action up to the 100 (kph of course ) zone. Played around with a boxter for a bit - it kept up with me when overtaking other cars - even during VTEC. I was quite suprised by this

The car really comes into its own when pulling out of roundabouts/bends in 2nd gear - awesome.

Why do TT drivers always try and have a go? Twice on the A11 I left a TT for dead

What's everyone's favourite stretch of road?

The tunnel going into London! 30mph limit! Vtec from 1st to third! Awesome sound on the engine roaring through the tunnel...scares a lot of people!

If the Boxster behind you was an "S"; there's no way you will leave it behind

As to favourite roads; 52 of us will be on them this Saturday!

it was a "normal" 2.7 - on the bends he would get real close up but coming out I could pull away a bit; eventually the he would catch up again - great fun though

I do like the M10 in hertfordshire, long, straight, no cameras and have only ever seen one Police car on it.
I am dying to try the Hatfield tunnel for a bit of VTEC once i get the "S". Of course only after the run in period, must treat her with respect.

A85 - A816 - A83 - A814 from Oban to Glasgow.

Found it last bank holiday w/e when I picked up my Stook from my Glasgow dealership and went for a 'minor' detour coming back from Glencoe. Chasing the sunshine and felt like putting some more miles on before the long slog back to London. Turned right towards Oban without really knowing where it was apart from it was West (and it had some clear sky over it ).

4 hours and 124 miles of stunning scenery, great weather and quiet roads later
I got home (all with my Gran in the passenger seat!)

Put over 1000 miles on it over my first 4 days of ownership (including a quiet day cruising round London - so 3 really averaging 350miles per day!!! )

What a car!
