I kind of wanted to use that word ADP, but resisted. Can't bring myself to keep the windows up, it feels morally wrong! Don't do it!! And don't think that if people can't see it the windows up it doesn't matter, its a point of principle. Don't be gay.
Should we allow concessions for ladies?
Perhaps if we see a bloke with the windows up in future we should accept its just his way of telling us or simply coming out the closet.
so if u have the windows down it means you are still in the closet

Ha ha! Good reply.
Well I guess you're right. I've just never tried it if you know what I mean.

Errrr....

The same ladies who tell you that your tie is crooked, shirt doesn't match, tell you that you can't possibly wear navy with black & insist on matching bed-linen & co-ordinated towels when guests come to stay???

No.

Some things look wrong & unbalanced - windows being up is one of them - just like trousers being a bit too short - you can kid yourself that it's fine & nobody will notice - but they do.

I always have the windows up too! It's just it a more enjoyable expierence, especially when you get above 40 mph. Although I agree it looks better with the windows down.

I think my S must be unique

When I put the roof down, the windows automatically go down.

That's a BIG HINT

Windows never up, even at 120. You can always get an oversized aeroscreen from Ricks - really stops the turbulence, because most of the wind comes from behind ( ), not from the sides. Other thing is with the windows up, you look too much like a haridresser in a TiT, Merc, BMW, Porkster, etc

you've never driven up here then?
The wind can cut right through the car from the side

Driving in the winter, up.
Driving with the missus, up.
Driving at 130mph on the Autobahn, up.
Listening to the radio, up.

To be honest, I think I like it up...
But then, I've never been outside of the car to admire the "lines" - I'm usually too busy inside trying to find the same!

We have our fair bit of wind here also (maybe I should submit this to a medical forum) and I know what you mean - that sidewards blast that takes your breath away. But it does return!
