Ok im not 100% sure if the S has a conventional cam belt, so there bound to be someone along to correct me!.

Anyways when do they generally need changed, my S has done nearly 100k now! As i believe there no real sound or signs to indicate it needs changed??

They don't have a belt...they have a chain.

I had a rattle on mine so I had the tensioner replaced.

 

Damn knew it was a chain!, so do yo ever get the chain replaced or tensioner?

Chains should not need replacing. Old style ones use to stretch, but I think new ones in modern high revving cars are a lot more solid.

Replace the tensioner when it gets loose and noisy.

Have a look in the workshop manual for an idea on the effort needed, or call Honda for a quote.
