Wheely weird
Hi guys a little help please.
We have just changed the rears on the S to some Toyos. These are the correct size and have been balanced and fitted.
The car seems to behave a little strangely since this. Its not as sure footed and seems to wonder/or be a little wooly in high speed bends/driving. The best way to describe it is like driving in high wind.
I have checked the PSIs put 34 all round – no change then dropped them to 32 and it’s a little better. It cannot be the balancing as I am pretty sure that would cause vibration.
The other thing is I have just changed all the discs and pads so still bedding them in but I am sure this wouldn’t affect the handling.
Any more techy gurus got any ideas?
Cheers
Edd

Could be completely wrong but maybe if youve just changed them then they need running in ? I think I had this problem for a few weeks after I changed my tyres last time. Just sapped my bend confidence, in a manner of speaking. :-)

I doubt if the Geo has been Knocked out Craig. I was there when I wheels were put on and my father in law changed the pads and discs saying they came off with no problems!
Its a bit confusing. ! I suppose they may need running in? Does this mean I need to do some donuts??!! ;-)
