Yeah .......now the S2K colour scheme now matches the bike!

Mine is a 998s

Black is good but I have seen a few at my mates and I think that there isn't enough contrast??
I almost bought a Silver/Red S2k to match the Senna and then saw sense.

When you say not enough contrast do you mean the wheels just look bland? I'm worried that the gunmetal could look a bit insipid agains a black car. I have to say it looks good on red and I was thinkinfg of doing the red logos on the caps as well.

I will take a better picture to show the logo.

Well I personaly think that if the car and wheels are the same colour it just takes my attention away from the wheels.......

Even if it is a tint or a shade off the black or evan Gunmetal would show off the wheels.

Just a word of advice.

I have seen a the posts with regards to polished outer lip/wheels and so on.

I would recommend staying well clear of the polished look!! This is due to the lacquer not being able to adhere to the wheel well.

Also if the wheels get scratched the lacquer will lift very easily and then the wheels looks sh!t.

Most wheel refurbishors now do not include a warranty on polished wheels due to the fact that this happens quite regularly.

Best bet is to stay with solid powder or paint.

A lot of people say gunmetal or anthracite, but I'm leaning more towards a proper black as well (on Silverstone). Who had the black 5 spokes at Rockingham on Silverstone?

And it means I can continue not cleaning them, but at least I won't feel as guilty about it.

They look great, dark wheels always look good against red.
