Wheels for Minvo
OK - so after the Pyranees last year I need new tyres AGAIN! And I still want 17" wheels.
So I have saved up some money and thought I would try and get some Honda 17" wheels - but they are as rare as rocking horse doodoo and I will have to powder coat them too to get the right colour.
So new ones? But which ones?
I have found these with a tinterweb search but all this offset stuff confuses Mr Minvo...
ROTA 17" Fight - Gun Metal "Wider Rear" for £779.00 at some dodgy wheelbasealloy website.
Does anyone have a better suggestion for a Gun Metal or BLACK wheel? (price needs to be around £800)
Cheers

I had those rims in gunmetal on my MCB. I think all four corners (staggered of course) and tyres (Falken FK453) were about £1100 or so. I bought from rotashop.co.uk.
They are quite wide...pics on the thread below.

The only wheels that really fit are the Mugens (MF10 or GP), Rays or the lovely Enkei PF01s (or PF01ss) - which are the only reasonably affordable ones...
(17x8 +50 and 17x9 +60 are the ones you'll require)

Huge thanks. That thread has everything I need to know.
Might make a purchase tomorrow...
Gun metal though.

Sounds like a good prospect from dis91 assuming they are 17s - and here in Norfolk too. I can point you at a wheely good wheel company in Norwich just round the corner from Holden Honda. They do all the work for BMW but not at their silly prices. About £75/corner IIRC to powder coat. They do the whole wheel not just what you can see. Choice of finishes - matte, semi silk etc and colours - black, charcoal grey etc.
edit: ah ok dis91 says 'facelift' which should mean they are 17s. Keep up keep up Roger

Nick has just quoted exactly what I have the perfect offsets and size , and I have now 225 fronts and 255 rears , but even so they do tramline a bit on occasion. But they fit without a hint of rubbing eat andmy car is lowered a bit
