Default Wheels

Will V1 10 spoke alloys fit an 09 S although wheel centre hole is 76 mm on the 09 and only 70 mm on the V1's ?
Any help appreciated .

Are you sure you aremt mixing the front/rear wheels? They have a different centre bore fron to rear.

If the bore of the alloy wheel is smaller then the bore on the hub then no it will not go on correctly. If the bore of the alloy wheel is larger then the bore of the hub then yes it would go on but I would suggest spigot rings to take it down to the same size as the hub so that it fits correctly.

I would advise not to fit the alloys if the bore of both the alloys and the hub are not the same for safe reason of course, but feel free to ignore the safety advise if you want is it for is style and like having a higher risk of shortening yours or/and the passenger's life.

OEM S2000 wheel set will fit every S2000 without alteration. As noted the rim width and center bores front and rear are different. The rear wheel is wider and center bore is smaller, hence the need to get this wider wheel rebored to fit on the front. Approximately a 5mm difference.

Curious why you want to change wheel design. The '08-'09 5-spoke is arguably the most attractive and modern design.

I may be getting confused with wheel bore as opposed to centre cap size .
The V1 centre caps fit onto the wheel whereas the 09 centre cap is recessed into the wheel.
I'm grateful for the "different size bore front to back "as in11 yrs i'd not noticed !
"OEM S2000 wheel set will fit every S2000 " is the reassurance I .was looking for
I'm soon having my car resprayed at long last getting rid of the nasty japanese paint and thought V1's painted black and then diamond cut would look better than the poorly finished V3 5 spoke wheels .
One things a dead cert ,I'm not the only one to replace V3's with V1's or V2's .

Yep, all the wheel sets fit. 17" wheels from the '04 and later cars offer more tire choices than the '00-'03 16" and are a popular and actual upgrade vs. just a change for the earlier cars.

There are reproduction AP2V1 wheels available (in the US for sure) at a cost less each than it cost me to refinish one of my wheels. Wheel pattern is a matter of taste and I've been told there are actually a few people who prefer Lite beer. Be sure to post how yours look when they're refinished.

I'd love a set of AP2V3 wheels even though they're not "correct" for my '06.
