Default Wheel/Transmission noise?

Above a certain speed I can hear a kind of rumble but can't pinpoint where it's coming from, I've tried dipping the clutch but it's still there, it's not very loud but you can hear it if you listen hard enough, is this just normal or is it a wheel bearing?

If its anything like when I had my bearing go its very noticeable initially and pretty much constant at all speeds, and very difficult to pinpoint exactly where it was coming from. I started to get used to the drone after a couple of days, but it was easy for the Honda chap to identify when I took him for a spin. Barely got going and his first suspicion was that the bearing needed replacing.

Fortunately mine was a warranty job.

Sounds awfully similar to the same problem I have. Can't really say what it is at the moment but my friend told me it could possibly be the release bearing - however mine has been getting slightly louder to late.

Should be taking mine into Honda this weekend to check and get a full inspection and service. Might be able to provide you with a better analysis once mine has been diagnosed.

Not sure if it is normal for the S, but certainly doesn't sound healthy to me.

It's only very slight, almost like resonance, would it be right in thinking the wheel would get rather hot if its a wheel bearing?

Only speaking from personal experience, there was no difference in terms of heat for any of the wheels. My first suspect if one wheel was particularly hot compared to the others would be brakes.
