I collected my wheels today and can't even tell where the damage was. The guy said it was very hard to do as the wheels are very strong. When I dropped them off he felt they may well crack when he tried to straighten them. Fortunately he was wrong. .

I remember a guy posting on the NSX website about a piece of rim cracking (looked like a lump of filler falling out, but wasn't) that he'd noticed on it 17" forged OEM. Clearly an over-enthusiastic repair.
