I dont know if BoyWonder comes on here anymore, but he had some fairly badly damaged wheels repaired.

Certainly round here (Herts) the council has been doing some massive surface dressing projects, which I agree are a false economy, however very large areas can be done at relatively low cost.
The biggest problem with surface dressing is the preparation of the surface prior to dressing including iron-work as you mention. Also contractors tend to skimp on binder to save time and money.

Hey Bud,
That sucks. However, last year I bent two of my wheels on an unfilled pothole. I was absolutely seething. What the hell do we pay road tax for?!!

I claimed against the council and in the end they ended up paying me out

Where abouts are you?

I'm on the uplands, where a combination of underground springs and bad maintenence have become a joke. Even the road surveyors quietly agree with me!

I went to Ikea yesterday...

N/S route's smooth, apart from the dropped drain covers.

No-one can bloody drive though; what's the point of having an EK if you don't pretend you stole it?
