I had a quick look at an '05' S2000 at the local Honda dealer earlier. It looks as if all four wheels need to be refurbished. Is there anything specific to be aware of with the OEM wheels when it comes to refurb? How much is it likely to cost?

Also, I don't think the tyres on the car are the 'right' ones. They are Goodyears on the front and Bridgestones on the back. They look new but I'm wondering if they've just thrown the cheapest tyres on to sell it. What are the 'right' tyres and how much are they?

These wheels were originally finished with the outer rim and face of the spokes having a polished finish and the rest of the wheel being powder coated.
To have the wheels refurbished to original spec is costly, about £75 per wheel,
if your happy to powder coat (Paint)the whole wheel it will be a lot cheaper about £40 per wheel.
As for tyres, RE050s Bridgestone are the original fitment, be careful of cheap alternatives, this car is sensitive to tyre choice.
