They kind of look half decent on Silverstone, but the pink wheels I saw on a yellow S looked shat.

Quite

Whatever happened to the simple choice between silver/diamond cut/grey/black?

it is yes but with a lairy colour scheme i expect some people wont like it but just think that unless you seen it on other cars it might work,

im loving being young having a bright coloured car and so is aims who had my rims on hers but now has the yellow rota's , she's 20 with 443bhp tho

Depends on what reaction you want and whether you want to stand out ....

Gloss black - great as it's a two colour option - goess Matt if you don't wash it and shiny if you do and both look good.
Silver - well that's too much like bodycolour.
White - great if you don't mind washing them twice a week to keep them nice, they don't look good dirty.
Bronze - still think it looks good.
Pink / Blue / Yellow / Red - fine if you want to slide about a car show with a drift charm dinking off your rear bumper with crowds of other cool kids but probably not anywhere else.
Anything 'chrome' will just not last well in the winter months if you use the car all year round.

If you are going to get a set, might be worth looking second hand so you can get them powdercoated as that withstands just about anything our roads / weather / brake pads will throw at them.

I've just put some Rota Fighter's on in Bronze on my Bananamobile and they look superb (pics to follow). However I do agree that on a Silverstone, they might clash a bit.
