Whats wrong when Q'ing in traffic
Wonder if anyone can help, or is this simply a natural thing with the car.
When sitting in traffic and not really getting out of 1st gear, about 10mins later the car will suddenly start developing kangeroo juice.....
Is this a problem, or a known issue
The car is an 02.
Thanks in advance.

Could be a MAP issue but all the S's collect the hot air. I soon learnt to give a small blip of the throttle to 2500rpm to clear the air before pulling away as it avoidds the embarrassing hopping.
You could get a cold air intake CAI, a duct which collects cool air, it also means on hot summer days the car is less prone to slow up. You may have noticed that the S does not seem as fast on a really hot day - that's because it likes nice cool, dense air to get it's performance.

You can get rid of a lot of the kangarooing by fitting a snorkel-type intake, as sold by site sponsor Muz and by Spoon.
