Default What's it worth?

All,

I put my S2000 up for sale recently and would appreciate your thoughts on the price as it isn't really attracting much interest.

It is a 02, registered in August 2002 with 18K miles on the clock. One owner from new, silverstone with red and black interior.

I would say that it is in good condition although not A1 as the wheels are kerbed, there are stone chips on the front wing, a small dent below the central rear brake light and a small puncture mark on the passenger side door interior from transporting the top of a desk (who said S2000's were impractical?)

Now, how much do you think it's worth? I put it on for 17.5K and only had one person call. Have been offered 15K by a dealership (non-Honda) in part exchange.

Do you think that is a good offer? I was pleasantly surprised given that it will need some work done to it before they will be able to resell.

How much do you think a Honda dealership would offer me for it? 13 - 14K?

Thanks,
John

Did I hear my name being mentioned?

The market is slowing now, so you may have to wait for a sale. However if a dealer is offering you

Did you put it up for sale on the For Sale Forum?

I can't see it. I can guarantee you there are people lurking waiting for the right car/price/location...........etc to appear (I know one). But you will find that you are dealing with people who have done their homework and will not rush. Some may be waiting for sellers to get more desperate with the winter months approaching.

Good luck and maybe patience if you can.

Yes but that rule is very recent so that car must have come up for sale very very recently. So maybe patience is the name of the game here.

call me a sceptic, but this seems like a poor attempt to skirt the For Sale rules
