Want a cheap S2000 to tinker with and drive the pants off - found a 1999 model with 122k, cat D, no service history to talk of, but old MoTs, Rusty rear arches and dodgy exhaust.

Thoughts on value and what it's worth?

I would agree with Greenman myself, wouldn't pay more then 3.5k for it, maybe even 3k if the car is in general poor condition all the way round. mileage is nothing to worry about 122k is nothing just make sure you check the TCT, personally if was me i would do new chain and tentioner and give it a service straight after purchase to be safe. Cat D should be ok as normaly only cosmetic damage, but do a good check over to be safe
