What's needed to make a GT model?
Seems there are always plenty of used hardtops for sale, but rarely with the required fitting kits.
Can anyone tell me exactly what parts are needed to fit a hardtop if I were to buy a roof only, part numbers would maybe asking too much - but would help my quest to see how much the dealer will charge.
Are the parts straight forward to fit?
TIA

With yours being an 05 model you'll only need the following:
Sidecatchers (the bit the hardtop pins go into)
http://www.hardtopguy.com/store/product.ph...1&cat=92&page=1
Sub Harness Wiring Kit (for connecting hardtop heated screen)
Sorry no link but again it can be bought from the HardtopGuy (P/N: 06690-S2A-KIT-C)
I ordered the Sub Harness Kit from them for my 53 S and it connected straight in to the existing wiring.
You should be able to get the Sidecatchers 2nd hand off this forum or Eb@y.
Have a look at these instructions (You'll only need 'Hardtop Kit C on page 2):

if you go 2 the ganley website it's cheaper than hardtopguy & ebay;
http://ganleyhonda.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Sc...ategory_Code=S7
any reasonably good diy-er can do it. it takes about 2 hours & is really quite simple. pm me for more info if need be. i did my 07 last oct.
