What's the maximum size?
Picking up in CHIPPO's thread about sore hips it got me wondering what is the biggest one could be to comfortably fit into the S2000.
I have to admit to being "under height for my weight" and it was one of my main concerns before I bought the car..."will I be able to fit?"
A quick test drive soon put my mind at rest, however there is not much space around me and its a fairly tight fit.
I'm 6' 1" and 19stone....
Is there an S2000 owner out there willing to admit he's larger and still fits into the car comfortably (without modification)?
It will help me to decide if I can afford to gain a few pounds or if there is another good reason for me to start the diet on Monday!
I've deliberately avoided posting on the main forum as I wanted this to be UK focussed and it also avoids the confusion that could arise around the different weight systems. I'm guessing there are a few US owners who could top me on the scales.
Go on don't be shy.

There are other good S2000 related reasons to start the diet:
It will improve your Power to Weight ratio significantly for much less outlay than any modifications.
Your seat bolsters will last longer.
Better fuel consumption.
etc.
Good luck.

I'm 6 foot 1 as well and I was 17 1/2 stone at my fighting weight. I was always snug but comfortable. I'm down to 14 1/2 now and there is considerably more room in there and is much more comfortable on long journeys. My advice - Hit the gym

I am a mere pup at 6'1" and 85kgs, but a good friend came out with me for the first tme....he loved the car (A LOT), but admitted to not being able to consider an investment of his ow, luckily its was a warm sunny day when we were out as his 6'7" fame (must be 18st), was poking well into the clouds....I think he was watching from over the windscreen frame.....
quite entertaining really....He used to drive a clio willias back when we were lads....that too brought a smile to my face!

Its costing a small fortune to loose weight from the car for next seasons hill-climbing, so this 5'10" 171/2 stone is going on a diet.
Saves money and increases my p/w ratio.
No problems in the car at present but I suspect when the (much) lighter race seats are in I won't fit in them without loosing at least 2stone.
I hope its good for the soul as well!

Now look what i have started, blimey there are some fat munters here!
I am 5 10 and aproaching 18 stone of rippling muscle, but i have skinny hips cant keep me trousers up !!!! my bolsters have a nice patina to them , well thats my excuse any way.
So is ones 0-60 time directly proportional to the size of a bangers and mash portion? or is there some other constant ones needs to consider such as constantly eating?
