I'm sure Honda will sell you a brand new one...££££££££££££££££££££££ £££££££££££

They have an obligation to make parts available for at least 10 years after vehicle production has ceased.

Secondhand is a more viable option, but you need to choose carefully as certain components differ for MY06+ engines.

Hehe, not directly! I suppose it might be a consideration for all owners at some stage. After the horror of my last car I'm quite looking forward to spending more time driving this one rather than sitting at the side of a motorway or being driven by the AA. Perhaps if I never VTEC it it'll never go wrong

Mine is now on 112k. It's going to be firmly a sunny weekend toy from now on.

Those 112k miles have been tough on her - I've done 2 airfield days and two track days, and when I collected her there were 'ring lap cards in the centre console.

It's not perfect - I've had a new roof, new gearbox, new clutch, all the bushes done and a new TCT. Next job is going to be to replace the timing chain and guides.
