My best mate's Aston DB7 Vantage feels plenty pokey for sure: 420 horses or so I think from 6 litre V12. A little UN-rigid in the handling dept. (Volante). Best thing though..... is the noise - irresistable!
Standard 996 also feels plenty rapid.
S2 does incredibly well for 2 normally aspirated litres.

On the road it has to be my S, although many years ago I had a 2.8i Capri which could go sideways quicker than any S!
On the track a Formula Ford which was a 1.6 Fiesta engine in a space frame, similar to the old Formula Firsts. The instructor reckoned 60 in about 4 sec's, loads of fun.
Apart from that my Suzuki GSX 1400 makes your neck snap back if you give it the berries, 0- 60 is supposed to be mid three's.
Cannot believe I'm admiting to a Capri in a public place

Driven several NSX's. Manual box fixed head coupe is the best. Savage, almost bike like acceleration when the vtec kicks in! Vastly underated supercar. Would love to own one.
Welshman, you are a lucky bloke!
