Whats the fastest accelerating car you've ever driven?
The S2000 is the fastest car I've owned but not the fastest I've driven..... today I had a fantastic 2 hour test drive in an SL55 AMG with a salesman who was only too happy for me to drive it hard!
I've driven plenty of quick cars but the AMG is bone crushingly fast....... many cars can get you to three figures quickly enough but there aren't many that feel as though they could get you to 150+ not long after!

100mph comes up in 10 secs or so I think.

For pure acceleration not top end then a formula renault as they weigh absolutely nothing. In terms of a road car have driven various ferraris inc an F50 
that was seriously quick.

My Lancia HPE.
To be specific the day a 30 Tonne artic drove into my rear end at 30 while I was stationary. I was accelereated so violently the drivers seat bent so the headrest was on the back seat and the radio came out of the dash.
Only did it the once, mind.
