Just use two rod ends like this
http://www.bearingboys.co.uk/Rod_End...n_Race_-3637-c
Select one of similar thread size to what's on the car and use a nut and bolt to secure to the brackets on the car

Do you think this would work?
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Black-Plas...ht_2101wt_1396
or this maybe
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/M6-Male-Fe...ht_1735wt_1169 - M6 size?
Cheers,
Dave

Just been out and removed / cleaned / refitted mine - need a right old mix of socket and extensions to get at it properly You also have to take note of where the suspension arm is in relation to the adjuster as when you refit it, you don't want to lower the car back down and then snap the adjuster because you left it at the end of its travel. It has to go counterclockwise as the suspension compresses and clockwise as the suspension uncompresses.
I'll get the headlights aligned correctly by the MOT place and then set the adjuster at its midpoint with the car on the inspection ramps - this definitely hasn't been done before and would explain why the beam pattern has always been low.

I've gone for:
M6 Ball Joints * 2 (One LH Thread, One RH Thread)
M6 Linkage Rod * 1
M6 Nuts * 2
The old rod (with the nut in the middle) has opposite threads at each ends, which makes sense otherwise turning a normal threaded rod would just loosen one end whilst tightening the other, and make no difference to the distance between them.
I measured 35mm of rod (including the nuts at each end) between the old 2 ball joints, so was planning on setting the new one the same but will have to check when I do that job.
Will let you know how the DIY goes once it all arrives, got some football to watch now
