Default What would you do if you were me?

My wife is due to give birth in June and I'm not sure if I can keep the S2000

We have a five door hatchback (Corsa Automatic) as well as the S2000 but I can see circumstances where the S2000 will become impracticle. I won't be able to take the baby out on my own; babies upto six months have to be put in rear facing child seats which shouldn't be put in the front seat of a car, unless the airbag is disabled (or something along these lines).

So basically I can never go out with the baby in the S2000, my wife can't drive a manual car so I can't take the Corsa instead and if we go out as a family I'll have to be seen in a Vauxhall Corsa all the time (Do you get "My other car is a Honda S2000" stickers )

What should I do...,

Should I keep the S2000?

Should I sell the S2000 and get something else, if so what can I get that is classy & sporty with back seats and comparable to an S2000? I think the answer to this is "nothing" but I thought I'd ask anyway.

Any advice greatly appreciated!

1. Change the Corsa for something with a little more image
2. Search on here for disabling the passenger airbag
3. Keep the S

It pains me to say it but maybe the RX8 is the way to go?

Or if all else fails a 911 rag top!! I am sure they have very small rear seats!!...........;-)

I have the same sort of problem ........ My 7 year old is fine in the S but I won't take my 3 year old until she is big enough to use the proper seat belts with a booster seat.

Our second car is a CRV so if I have to take my daughter anywhere or we go out as a family we use that.

90% of the time I am on my own so I don't see the S as being impractical.

I had thought about this but you get into all sorts of problems with insurance etc.

I know a lot of guys in the US have had it done but I am not aware of anyone in the UK.

Keep the S, but it may mean ditching the family.

If you want a soft top, then look at 4 seaters such as Saab 93 if you can afford it - if you are not bothered about a convertible then go for an RX8

Get blobbed up or have a vasectomy.

Or is that too late?

TVR Cerbera

Or sell the S and replace with Caterfield/Elise for less and then buy and automatic crusier or something so that you & the missus can drive it.

Bascially, have 3 cars instead of 2 and that way you still have a plaything (if that's what you want).

If it has to be a soft top (some of these should come as auto's too so the other half can drive it)
or M3 conv (bad image)
or Saab (nice but FWD)
or Volvo (nice but FWD)
or Merc (nice but not exactly fun)
or Audi Cab (nice but dated if older one and FWD)

or any of the hatch/convertibles (golf, 306/7, megane etc.)
