Default What tyres?

Looked at the very useful technical questions FAQ after getting some useful advice about my tyres michellin on front yokohama on rear (btw not my fault i just bought it.) And while I did see that Bridgestone have made tyres especially for the S a few people had differing opinions about what are better in the UK. So I am seeking the wisdom of the more experienced S owners as I really don't want to repeat the experience of the spin I first had. Also does anyone know of good links to sites to buy the rear convertable screen cleaner mentioned in the FAQ thread (for Z3)

Cheers

Toyo Proxes seem to be the current tyre of choice for the all year round driver.

I'm looking for new tyres for mine too and think I'm gonna stick S02's on again (as hopefully this will be safer then mixing tyres front to rear - front S02's have plenty of life left) but if you do a search on tyre choice the other popular option seems to be Toyo T1's (S or the new R) as the eagle F1's are no longer available AFAIK for the standard 16"s.

As for the Z3 rear screen cleaner, just pop into your local BMW dealership, mine had it in stock for about

BTW, thought I'd save you regulars the worries of posting the usual "do a search"

I have toyo's and they are definately better than S02's in the wet but are nothing close to a fail save device as some people maybe seem to think. I have been out and about today and they can be excitable if tickled - cheeky monkeys

TBH, if I used my S as a daily driver (which I don't so I have stuck with S-02's) I would use Bridgestone S-03's (don't forget to use 245 width on the rear) as these seem to work really well in wet conditions.
