Default What type of reaction do you get?

I've just been driving through Birmingham and the number of yound kids who turns their heads to watch me drive down the road never ceases to amaze me. I even had one kid shout out "nice car mate" as one would expect a little ruffian in Mary Poppins or something to shout! It particularly amuses me as the S doesn't seem to invoke the same reaction as, for example, a Z4. My work mate has a Z4 and he recounts stories such as one van driver pulling up alongside at the traffic lights and giving the old "wanker" hand gesture for no reason at all. Is it a case of people being more jealous of a premium Bavarian brand, or actually the fact that we don't look like smug gits in our cars??

The guy who cam to fix our dishwasher on Friday said nice motor. Honda's in general seem to get a lot of respect let alone the s.

The bloke who came to mend my central heating the other week was very interested and spent 1/2 hour discussing the S. Probably charged me 50 quid for the time

My favourite is the looks you get from kids sitting in the back of cars As if they'd just seen a spaceship

Generally all nice comments. Even had a policeman pull up next to me at a set a lights after looking the car over (in a nice way) he powers the window down and says nice car mate, but be careful. I say cheers as he powers the window up and lights change and off we go
