Make sure you get something that corners well.

Range rover sport test drive was good, car is well designed, but they did skimp on the plastics inside. had it for the whole day and got to go for a good ride about with all types of traffic and roads, it coped well and the 2.7 diesel is not bad for the job. so far this has come top for looks and function for what i am looking for as its different to anything i have driven. they seem to have thought of everything, touch screen sat nav saves alot of messing about and the controls are very well placed, cannot wait till i can borrow the turbo charged 4.2 V8 next week.

i got a porsche cayenne brochure in the post this morning, very good brochure (more like a book) 186 pages with plenty of info, very well presented and well worth keeping, get one as i am sure they will one day be on ebay for a load of money.

will be heading over to my local garage this coming week to take one out for the day as i have booked a drive already, i am still very unsure about the look and the interior looks very dated but it might win in performance whcih is what i am after in such a big car.

I also checked over a volvo XC90's but i doubt it will go any further than that.

Porsche do superb brochures. I picked up a Cayman one and it is quite impressive If only the options didn't nearly double the price....

Cayenne prices are in freefall, don't touch 'em. You are better off buying a td Toureag as it has all the same good drive bits, but with out the very expensive Porsche badges!

G

PS The RRS 4.2ltr is Supercharged, not turbo'd! You won't like the MPG if you do more than 10k/yr. If its city driving expect no more then 12MPG.

PS If you want to have a good residual and go with an RRS, then order the new V8D RRS which will be out after the summer. Plenty of power!
