What not to do in an S2k?
Hi Guys
Picking up my S2k tonight. and wondered if you can give me any safty gauds for the S2k. I have driven FWD 200BHP+ cars for 7 years now and this is my first time in a RWD. any tips? i mean how would you control the car once it's gone into a slide? Oversteers? sorry to sound like a Newbie hehe. if you got understeer in a FWD then you just plant the throttle to pull it back into place, but i guess in a RWD it's opposite? anyone had any close encounters?
cheers

Your best bet would be to go to an airfield driver training day. If you're going to have to think about what to do when you oversteer, it'll be too late.
Motorsports International do an Academy day at Heyford which is quite good for playing with your car in an almost benign environment -

Dont even try and drive quickly, its not like most RWD cars. The back will step out, then let go at a rate faster than you can react Its not the best for drifting!
