Default What happens at Weekends? - New Owner..

Having got hold of an S2000 yesterday, I spent an hour this morning fitting a new centre console bit (Bit between the seats where you stash stuff) as the old one had a hinge broken.

Now other than that, there doesn't appear to be much else that needs doing to it.

Having come from owning an S1 Elise, my weekends used to be taken up fixing things, locating rattles and stopping them and then spending 4 hours removing bits and bobs so I could grease them, oil them, get to other bits etc etc.

Now I have a Honda, what the hell am I supposed to do with my weekends??

There's a real danger that I may have to spend time with the wife and kids....

1. make car shiney
2. fob wife and kids off somewhere
3. go for a drive.

1: Car detailed before I collected it.

2: Wife and youngest just gone to Sainsbury's.

3: Looked out the window and she's taken the Honda....

She never drove the Elise. That was one of the the best things about it.

Definitely get yourself on the meets section - best thing I ever did was going to my first meet in the Lakes.

That's one of the reasons I sold my old MG. ( 1971 )

Can't be arsed playing about with spanners at the weekend.
Driving is much more fun.
