Fingers crossed for WBT 1 as well
Forecasts I've seen for scotland indicate showers for Sat to Mon, and clear for the last day (which is not the best day in terms of driving )

Four-week forecast
Valid for 30 August 2004 to 26 September 2004
High pressure is expected to build over southern parts of the UK and remain established throughout the period. This is expected to give fine, warm, sunny weather across this area, with below average rainfall and near or above normal temperatures. Northern areas are likely to see more unsettled conditions with near average temperatures, rainfall and sunshine.

Went to Bournemouth on Saturday as we hadn't been there before. Drove the scenic route and drove the A272. What a great road except for all the idiot drivers who want to drive at 40 mph and the council who in their own special wisdom had marked out most of the road with double white lines so very little opportunity to overtake. Got to Bournemouth and the beach was heaving. Then it dawned on us that we screwed up because we took nothing to read, listen, lie down on or sit in! My wife and I thought it funny at the same time as stupid and so we sat on the sand for 20 mins and drove back home.
Sunday drove to Hyde park and this time we did take a blanket and reading material. Smoked me a cigar, read What Car. Nice . Saw in excee of 30 convertibles with their hoods up so am very confused with the reason why people buy these types of cars. One Saab owner was behind me at the traffic lights with his hood up and saw his girlfriend say something to him while pointing to my car. He immediately lowered his hood after this short exchange!
I love driving in London, it is so crazy, the streets really make the car sound awesome with the HKS on and it is like a little race from every traffic light tot eh next. Was beaten so badly in a drag race by a SL55 that I really hated myself for cancelling the order (although I was not really trying because I was looking for a newsagents at the time). However his car will probably spend more time at the dealers getting fixed than my little S. The sound from his machine really was awesome but the driver and paasenger looked like a pair of idiots. Hood down though.. Came home and got invited round to our neighbours for a BBQ and then all of the neighbours started asking me about my compulsive washing and cleaning disorder!
