What else could be bent?

Just found an interesting breakdown of model year differences and apparantly the knuckle changed for the later year cars

http://www.benzboost.com/showthread....ach-model-year

This seems to be backed up by different part numbers aswell.

Can anyone confirm or dispute this and could this be the cause of my problem, a later spec knuckle on an early model car? My thinking is that when the upper wishbones were changed the upper mounting part of the knuckle was also possibly altered. This could then be why my 01 is now giving too much neg camber? Any thoughts or suggestions on this appreciated

Can get it to about 2degrees fully adjusted inbut it then throws the toe out. Bring the toe back toward spec and the camber flys up to around 3 degrees. Only thing left I can think is rear subframe bent. Anything else I might have missed? Obviously getting the replacements second hand I don't 100% know that they were completely straight also.

Just to give you an idea on the impact it mainly took it on the exhaust which then bent round at 45 degrees till it hit the subframe.
Yes, Subframe - still bent?
It gets pushed in.
I did the same thing.

You can frig it out by breaking off the lower eccentric adjuster guides and rewelding them slightly inboard.
Have a chat to Chris at Centre Gravity, he's seen dozens of these.

Maybe you have the wrong upper wishbone there combined with incorrect hub carrier?
I bent the hub carrier too, where the toe arm attaches - but that was easy to dial out of course.

Update again. Changed rear hub for a known straight early model one and saw an immediate improvement. As I'd also bought known straight front and rear subframes decided to change these aswell at the same time. Car is now straight and aligned. Massive relief as I was running out of options.

Only thing I couldn't get as high as I wanted was the front castor, could only get 5 deg 50 mins with the 1 deg 30 camber. Not sure what would stop it increasing any more.

Time to get supercharger fitted now I know it's all sorted
