My version 1 ground effects are getting sprayed as I type this so I'll be fitting them in the very near furture. To fit them, I have been informed that a bit of double sided tape can be used on the sections that mate to the cars side. The spats will be secured underneath with rivets.

Can anyone enlighten me as to what tape it is I need, and point me to a place where I can purchase some.

If not, there's some red stuff called Tesa tape we use at work which is awesome - its kinda clear after you've peeled off the red back off either side, but it sticks well!

Make sure the tape and the parts to stick are warm and the body is dry and clean, we would wipe along the intended area with a petrol soaked cloth to remove any polish so to ensure a tight fit fit to the paintwork.
