Default What does the PRM intake sound like

I am thinking about getting the PRM intake, I know general consensus is it sounds really good but does anyone have a recording of it?

I did do a search in the forums but nothing came up.

Thank you

Rob has in his sig.

Do a search on a user called GSI, find a post and its at the bottom.

The sound is brilliant, at 30mph in a high gear if you floor the car you get a throaty growl which turns heads.

At Vtec switchover it is a louder wail and sounds fantastic.

Well worth the investment.

It makes the car sound like it looks and avoids the constant groan of a louder exhaust. Basically its great noise on tap !

Unfortunately, it's also like driving with the airbox lid off, and then some - especially in hot weather. The "woolley" throttle feel and general dulling of the responsiveness is beginning to irritate me.

Thanks for that Shipley - sounds cool.

So is it sucking in more hot air than the stock airbox with the lid on?

Personally, I prefer exhaust over intake noise.
