FWIW the thing about incriminating yourself, and that case isn't as simple as it first sounds... The reason it's going to court is becouse if the bloke admits he was driving when caught by the speed trap, then he will effectively incriminate himself with all the other motoring charges he is charged with...and thats the bit they are apealing against.

The fine for not disclosing who was driving is 3 points and a 1000 pound fine.....

I'm not a legal expert at all, so this is just FYI!

might be best to take the 3 points...although the site mentioned above does have some interesting information on how and where a speed camera can be used.....sometimes you can find some loopholes there.
