He's after a photo of the connector on the harness side.

Surely someone with an 04+ can remove their console and take a photo...

I believe if razorsharp192 shows the breaker the rear side photo of the 04 switch he will understand for sure which harness he is talking about

Does anyone know the consumption of the demister? (Watts etc), I'm about to make a harness that connects to a rocker switch from the 12v source under the dash and need to choose the appropriate thickness of wire. ALready have an inline fuse etc.

Has anyone else done this?

Also the hardtop has a 3 pin connector which ones are ground and positive?

Cheers

AJ, with the N/S panel off (one that you will be removing to fit the HT brackets), you can see which wires are which. IIRC, black is 12v and brown is gnd.

FWIW, my wires are the same thickness as these throughout

Thanks, oh i was under the impression there was 3 wires . I'm just connecting bulldog connectors and cutting the plug off.

I could check the consumption with a multimeter, if the HRW is say 65watts You'd want a least 7amp gauge IMO. Just rather avoid a fire LOL.
