what colour is the socket/wires that fit into the HRW button on an 04+ car
hi guys
i'm getting the wiring to sort out my facelift centre console heated rear window button, found a guy breaking an 56 car that will give me the socket, but needs to know what colour it is and what colour the wires are coming off it so he knows which one to chop off to send me. can someone do me a favour (who's got an 04+ car (i assume the wiring is the same 04 onwards? if not, i need a pic of one from a 56 onwards), could you take a pic of the socket that connects into your HRW button?
thanks a lot
mike

Hello,
If your car is a 04+ you must already have the wiring harness going from your center console to the back of the rear panel below the roll bar. You just need the subharness and the fitting kit. If you have a 00-01 and you just fitted a 04 center console you must ask the breaker to send you the harness i am talking above. From the center console to the rear panel below the roll bar
Do you have the OEM hardtop fitting quide?
Chris

i've got MY00, my HRW is currently working, i am buying a facelift centre console that has the different HRW switch, i just need the plug that goes into it (making it easier to wire up). not the entire HRW wiring, just the socket that goes into the button in the facelift centre console. so i need a pic of the socket and the wires (so i can show it to the guy so he knows which socket to cut off and give me)
can someone take a pic for me?
