Default Weighted Ricks gearknob

Am I weird?

I have this weighted Ricks knob:

And although I've not used the car much I really am not getting on with it, in fact I i'm thinking of going back to an early style S2000 knob.

Anyone else found this or am I odd?

I think I'm going to try to find an early gearknob (the full metal one, rather than the leather one) as I really like the look

Russ, you need to get yourself a Skunk2 gear knob! I didn't like the leather bit on the outside of the stock ones either so I picked up the gear knob found on the EP3 Civic Type R. I thought it looked exactly how I wanted it to, however, it was really light so it made the gear change feel quite notchy. I ended up buying the Skunk2 weighted gear knob and its brillient. It has the 'full metal look' but it has enough weight to make the gear change feel fantastic.

I have the Ricks Titanium knob, as I found the OEM too small for my big mits. Love it although it is FREEZING in the morning

Did I mention it came with a Leather Knob Sock? I'm just too embarrassed to use it

How is that?
