Mk1 owners (once included) use to pop their headlights to each other. Didn't wave to Mk2's cause they weren't true to the heritage

Cambs meet would be good, closer than a Suffolk meet. We are just outside the crapsville town of Huntingdon. So pub behind our house then?

I wave if I see another S - one followed me for half a mile in Edinburgh the other day - waved at each other as he passed me at a junction later.

Unfortunately I was on foot when I saw my second S of the day, driven by a fit looking burd. Only excuse I can think of to wave at women I don't know without looking like I should be on a register somewhere.

Bikers always wave/nod at each other - it was a major milestone for me when I gained enough confidence/ability to release my vice like grip from the handlebar to return the wave
