Default water leak

damn car, this is now the 3rd water leak i've had in as many years! always seems to change where it's leaking from too.

this year, i'm stumped on how im gonna fix it, here's some piccytures of where it's leaking from:

there seems to be a small tear on the inner roof material, you can see the water leaking through it.

pointing finger to show where the tear is on the inner material, from the outside. doesnt seem to be easy to get to. the water seeps through between the two layers of material.

I got the motivation to looking at this a bit more today after seeing whats involved with a replacement hood. no thanks to both time and costs for DIYing it!

the leak was caused by a stone working its way between the layers where im pointing at, and over time worn away the inner layer.

on the plus side, i've been able to repair it, and thanks to loftust's roof leak guide, been aware of a few other things that may of needed attention.
i've also re-enforced the roof another questionable area on the inside where the larger metal plates go to secure the rear edge of the roof... it was rubbing through on the ends of each plate.

repairs were done using Tenacious tape from the local camping shop, so should be sufficient to cope with outdoors use.
