Water dripping thru driver/passenger window seals
I noticed last night and today (the first time in a few weeks that I've driven the car with the roof up at speed) that the roof is catching the wind, making a lot of noise and noticeably altering the trajectory of the car. From the outside the roof looks fine though, and I stuck new striker plates on a few months ago which pretty much reduced the wind noise to nil.
Got any ideas what it might be? I think it may be the seal on the drivers window as it's been letting in some water over the winter and may have rotted inside or something.

The plates which you buckle the clips of the roof onto, which are mounted onto the A-pillar. I replaced my worn ones with Jap GT ones at my local dealer's. Do a search for it if you need PN'sor more info.

I was going to suggested the strikers but you've done them already
Can you physically move it when it is latched down?
What do the catches look like?
I have known the strikers come lose and move!

Noticed a lot of wind noise (compared to the hardtop) at 85mph over the weekend.
Don't remember it being that noisy but it has been a few months since I had the soft top up.

Sounds normal to me, I've always noticed this with the soft top up.
Mikey,
The catches are a bit worn, but nothing major. The wind noise seems to be restricted to the driver's side window. There was water coming in there through the winter on and off. I'm pretty sure it's the seal. Any ideas how much it'll be to buy and fit myself?

I replaced the top two window seals on the drivers side today to see if it'd fix the problem. I immediately spotted some large tears on the inside of the smaller of the two seals. The longer one didn't seem too bad, but did have a couple of fractures on it.
They were a bit of a puzzle to change actually. First of all you undo the screw at the front of the long seal nearest the roof striker plate. Then you pull downwards on the seal to unhook the rubber lips it has gripping onto the metal frame.
When you fit the new ones, you need to make sure that the lips in either side grip on well to the metal again. it took a few visits to the other side of the car to get it right, but once I'd pushed the lips up as high into the main part of the roof as I could and lowered/raised the roof a few times it was sorted.
I'm just about to go and find a piece of road that doesn't have SPECS on it to go and see if the wind noise has gone away for good now.
