Cheers for your replies guys.

I'll see what the guy who has been working on it says Tuesday and report back. Hopefully it's as simple as wrong connectors I could do with a bit of luck.

Well I had a phone call today to say it's finally all fixed and running.

Dodgy alternator on the new engine seemed to be causing a few issues so they stuck the old one back on. All ok now. I pick it up later this afternoon after I've slept as I'm currently on a nightshift.

Cannot wait to get it back on the road.

Two months without Vtec............ I feel like a kid on Christmas eve!

Did the garage do an oil change on the new engine?
It looks like it's been sitting for a fair while in those photos.

They sure did mate, it was obviously all drained before delivery anyway so fresh fluids all round.

Only driven it the 15 miles home and already can't stop grinning!

Can't believe how much I've missed driving it!
