After being pulled in to this detailing lark since buying a black car and following these overcomplicated practises and spending fortune's on "must have product's " I have concluded that Simon is 100% right .

Yup; I've got 1.5 blacks and a deep blue pearl & in view of the constantly shi' weather, I've decided it's a hiding to nothing & am now cured of OCD.
