Default Washing and waxing dilemma

Ah, the weather has just been too good over the past few days.

BUT the downer is that it shows up all the dirt on my new Berlina Black car.

Washed and waxed using the Zymol stuff from Halfords at the weekend. Was quite impressed.

Then took a look at www.sportscarworld.ltd.uk and got a little confused.

Can anyone recommend which pack to go for to restore my car to the shining glory it once was..?

I think the Japon kit is the one that most Zymolers on here use, although I know there are a couple of people who use the NSX wax.

I bought the Japon starter kit and was really pleased with the results when I first washed, HD cleansed and waxed it a couple of weeks back.

Mark,

How long does it take for the Zymol from sportscarworld to turn up? I want to Zymol my car before this w/e's Southern mini meet and was going to order tomorrow. Will it arrive in time?

Cheers

Hi Ian,

It took 3-4 days from placing the order, I think. Although to be fair, the courier did try to deliver once while there was no-one at home, I think, so it may have been quicker.

I think you may be pushing it a bit to get in time for the weekend AND leave you enough time to pamper your baby before trundling off to the mini-meet! The first wash, cleanse and wax took me the best part of 4 hours.......

Worth investing the effort though And WaxMaster Tif assures me that the first cleanse is the longest, and thereafter it will all be much smoother and quicker.

Cheers Mark,

Ohh well I'll order it anyway tomorrow and do when I can. I've loads of days off work next week so can sort something else out then. I'll have to spend my designated pre mini-meet car day (Saturday) doing something else to my baby!

yep, you have to try Treat to believe the amazing results it gives on leather. I'd buy a set of their towels (non -microfibre variety) to use with the HD Cleanse too (It makes HD CLeansing the car a lot easier!)
