Default washing silver cars

simply speay car with autoglym bug and tar remover[watered down will do].

jetwash off[or a good pressure hose].

hey presto clean car just dry off and go for a drive[like what the car was made for].

p.s. doesnt work on dark paint as it will leave streaks

I am sad and still hate water marks on my silverstone... I especially hate them on the windows

Even if I jet wash my car I have to chammy it dry!

Yes, but not MF that's dragged in the dirt while using it, eh?

I HATE MF's. I only use them for removing wax / polish etc. I have used synthetic chammy's with great result on both my black S3 and my S.

Only a "real" leather will do. and you must use it in a professional way. You don't wipe the car with it you need to wring it dry, open it right out and lay it on the car (a bit like putting a cloth on a table). When it's soaked up the water, lift it off and wring it out. Keep doing this until the car is dry. For the verticals you have to develop a sort of slapping it on technique.

Keep your old leathers to mop up inside the bonnet and for drying the lower sills
always Dry your leather and replace it once it gets too hard or starts to break up.
