Warranty on EU Import
Post removed as I was basically talking a load of sh!te 
Apols to any who read and/or who've already responded (and quite rightly asked me WTF I'm talking about!) I thought I was trying to be helpful when I was writing the now-scrapped post

Who are you buying the car from?
The importer of the car into the UK, or whoever you bought it from will register it with Honda UK.
It took about 7 days for my car to appear on the Honda UK database.

All you three above have a good point. The car is coming from Motor Depot, and it is they who - as you lot already know, and as I just found out by phoning them just now after I'd already stuck my size 11 in my gob - register the car (thus validating the European warranty) with Honda UK.
It was Honda UK who told me a) that they wouldn't acknowledge my European Warranty UNLESS done through my local Honda dealer and b) they couldn't tell me (prior to the car having had its warranty validated as aforementioned) where in the world the car had come from/via - only that it was not UK-supplied. And THAT'S what got me started!
Right: that's me having wasted half an hour of my time and a few minutes of yours!! So Shut The F*** Up RON!!
